Bees fucking in the front garden

Today, walking down to the river with Girl, I saw a Monarch butterfly flying away with another Monarch butterfly. At first I thought, how sweet, one butterfly is wounded and the other is carrying it back home. And then reality sunk in and I realized, no, the other butterfly is taking it back home to eat.
