finally, finally i'm posting these examples of semi-urban kitchen gardens in Umbertide, Italy. they are very impressive mostly in that every apartment building and house has at least a small plot of lettuce and rucula growning. in fact my friend Diego said that it is totally unheard of to buy greens in the market, because everyone grows there own.
